When Irving first researches Hughes for the Hoax, he picks up a "NEWSWEEK" to read. Bearing the title "The Secret World of Howard Hughes." It is dated 1971. However, the edition he is actually reading is the April 19, 1976 issue. This 1976 issue was printed after his death, it even included a sketch of Hughs during the last few years of his life.

It's 4:15 and I just got home. I thought I would read your nitpicks before I go to teach. I didn't realize the two discrepancies you pointed out. Pretty good though. We didn't get to talk too much today, but maybe we will have more time tomorrow. Until then.....Tom
