She continues to stand at the car calling the dog. Calling the dog Chuck saying "Chucky- Chuck come on, come on girl... Chuck." Then walks over to read a new letter and writes a new one. Ten minutes later on in the movie she explains in the letter that the dog is skinny, has sad eyes, sleeps like a person and that she calls him "Jack." Only in that one seen, but writes to Alex saying that she calls him JACK and she calls him Jack in the rest of the movie.
